Angel Oak Restaurant

Delicious meal in a cute homey atmosphere. Had their daily steak which was served with a crab cake and shrimp. I subbed the fries for Brussels and was not disappointed! The service was friendly and prompt. I would definitely have another meal here.

Love this place. I have been 3 times and service is on point and food is great.7/25/19- ate there today and it was great. Little steep for lunch $56 with tip, but we did get appetizers and shared a Smores dessert.

I met my friends here as I was passing through the state to get home. They had been here several times and highly recommend this place. They were absolutely right. The food was bountiful and the drinks had these strange names that were so much fun trying to remember what you ordered. I had the most wonderful beignets I have ever had. They totally melted in my mouth! My husband ordered the vanilla pudding and I must admit I ate over half of his dessert,too! I can't wait to pass through this state again so I can come back!

We are traveling from Mississippi and were told this was a MUST! From the staff, to the atmosphere, to the incredible food! Angel Oak didn’t disappoint!! Yummy!! The fried chicken, Mac and cheese and Brussel sprouts were some of the best I’ve ever had! Definitely recommend!!

This is a very nice small restaurant featuring creative dishes. The food that I had while tasty was a bit over-salted and I feel like it was not as good as it could have been or as I felt it was going to be. My fish was overcooked as well. The server was very attentive and very concerned about everything. I would definitely go back and give them a second try.

First time going and definitely will return! Absolutely love the fresh and local aspect. Has a wonderful country home atmosphere and the food is amazing. Got one of their specials of the day, the BBQ fried chicken steamed rolls with brie as well as the side of pimento cheese grits! My grandmother went a classic route and ordered their wonderful burger with the parmesan truffle fries. Wonderful wonderful wonderful!

The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the bland mac n cheese... otherwise, the fried green tomatoes were AWESOME, honey glazed fried chicken was great too. Service was good and food was hot!

I love this place so much. The service is always friendly. We've been here multiple times and never had a bad meal. The ingredients are so fresh and the flavors are amazing! Love getting to try different items on the menu. By far I love the bang bang shrimp buns. Sunday brunch is always a must! I also got some fresh eggs on the way out. Check it out y'all!

The food is so fresh, the servers are extra friendly and helpful and the dishes are unique. Today we had the fried chicken, fresh crab cake sandwich and shrimp buns. All were outstanding along with delicious fresh vegetable sides. This place never disappoints! Highly recommended.

Awesome menu and food. Love the pimento cheese grits. My husband loves their fried chicken. They have a very eclectic mix of food, good wine list and reasonable prices. And they are dog-friendly!!!

Small brunch or lunch spot with an upscale feel, great for after visiting the Angel Oak tree nearby. Homey decor with yummy specials, and unless mimosas to top off your experience. Some light overhead music wouldve added to the atmosphere, but notable experience regardless.

Delicious daily specials and a menu with wonderful anchor dishes. We love the pasta. It’s always fresh and delicious. Great place for lunch or dinner!

Oh, my goodness...if you have never been to Angel Oak Restaurant, it is a MUST do. I ordered the fried chicken and parmesan truffle fries. I would go back for the fries alone--they are delicious! I will definitely go to this restaurant again when passing through.

Stopped here on a whim. Amazing place. Owner and wait staff were friendly and attentive. The menu was unique to the region. Everything we ordered from the appetizers - smoked trout on toast points, to the butternut bisque to our main dishes were cooked to perfection and served attractively and hot. This is a place we will definitely visit again!!!!

Excellent...welcoming, warm, and yummy! Homemade crab and sausage raviolis were superb, steak, catfish and grits were good too! The butternut and spiced pecan was delish! Service was fantastic! Can't say enough good things about this place. Don't pass this up...really memorable experience!

Nice dinner. Good food, right portioned, friendly and efficient service, priced right. The menu changes since its a farm to table but everything is scratch made. I had the pasta bolognese and my wife had the plank grilled salmon with dill sauce. The pasta was very good and my enjoyed the salmon.

Not from around this area but this place was GREAT! The inside was beautiful, food was great and everyone was soooooooo nice and helpful. 100% recommend this place to anyone!

Unassuming outside. Cozy inside. Felt like at home. The beignet are to die for. They overwrites my memory of whatever else I had there. Good thing I have photos. :-) Flavorful collard greens, fluffy grits, and a nice piece of sword fish.Great service. Very good food. Enjoyed the coffee. Will be back.

Met family at Angel Oak last December. Had to return this year. The restaurant is small and busy and wonderful! The staff are friendly and attentive. The food is delicious. An order of beignets is a must!

My daughter, sister and friends went to Sunday brunch and had a wonderful time. Our server (he didn't tell us his name) was excellent. Very knowledgeable, fun, and kept our bottomless mimosas filled. They have outdoor seating and an open dining room. It's best to make reservations because they stay packed. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Down home feel with plenty of southern charm, and 5-star presentation. Definitely worth stopping in, and coming back again and again. The food is amazing and wonderfully flavorful. And the atmosphere is small, but cozy and inviting. We will definitely be back.Fair warning, parking can be challenging, but it's worth it.
